Setav Privacy Policy

Setav Innovations Private Limited ("Setav") respects your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal information. This Privacy Policy outlines how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use Setav — including our app, setav.ai, and the websites we operate at *.setav.app on behalf of the professionals who use Setav.

Information We Collect

We may collect the following personal information from you:

• Basic Information: Name, phone number, email address, and professional information such as company name, designation, and industry.
• Social Media Links: Links to your social media profiles.
• Products and Services: Information about the products or services you offer.
• Payment-provider account identifiers and OAuth tokens: if you are a professional and choose to connect your own Razorpay account so payments go directly to you, we store your Razorpay account identifier and encrypted OAuth access/refresh tokens. Purpose: creating payment orders on your behalf against your own account. Retention: until you disconnect your account, at which point this data is deleted.
• Billing details for Go Pro: if you buy or are invoiced for Setav's Go Pro website service, we collect and store your legal or business name, billing address and, where you provide one, your tax identification number (for India, your GSTIN), together with the amount, date and payment reference of each payment. Purpose: taking payment, issuing tax invoices and meeting our tax and accounting obligations. Retention: invoices and the billing details printed on them are kept for 8 years, as the law requires, even if you later delete your account.

When a professional invites someone who is not yet on Setav, we keep that person's phone number for up to 30 days, only so that we can add them to that professional's clients if they join. The number is deleted when they join or after 30 days, whichever comes first.

WhatsApp messages (updated 21 October 2026). When you message Setav's WhatsApp number, we store the messages, button taps and media (such as photos, videos, voice notes, documents and stickers) you send, so that we can answer you and support you. Media is kept in private storage. This data is kept even after you delete your Setav account. Our support team can be reached on WhatsApp at +91 88266 68006.

In app permissions

• Camera: We use the camera to scan QR codes. These QR codes contains contact links.
• Contacts permission: We use contacts permission for contact search and showing already added cards.

  Note: Your contacts are private and are never shared with any third party in any form.

Sharing Your Information

We may share your personal information with third-party service providers who assist us in operating our app. These service providers are bound by strict confidentiality obligations and are prohibited from using your information for any purpose other than providing services to us.

If you book or pay for a service on a professional's own website at a *.setav.app address, the booking details and payment are processed by Setav on your behalf, and the card/UPI payment step is completed on a Setav-operated page at setav.ai. We share what is necessary to complete that booking and payment — such as the order amount and payment status — with the professional you are booking, and with our payment processor, Razorpay, solely to process the transaction.

For Go Pro, Setav is the seller. We share your payment details with Razorpay, our payment processor, solely to take and refund your payment, and invoice and billing records with our accountants and tax authorities where the law requires.

Where a professional has connected their own Razorpay account to receive payments directly, Razorpay acts as that professional's own payment processor for those payments, and Setav acts only as a technology provider facilitating the connection — Setav does not process or hold that payment.

Google user data (Google Calendar)

Professionals can choose to connect their Google Calendar to Setav. This is optional, and only the professional who connects can grant it. When you connect, we access the following Google user data, only for the purposes described:

• Your Google account email address and name, to show which Google account is connected.
• The list of your calendars (calendar names and identifiers), so you can choose which calendars count as busy and which calendar Setav adds your bookings to.
• Free/busy times of the calendars you choose. We see only when you are busy (start and end times), never the titles, descriptions, attendees or other details of your events. We use them only to stop clients booking you at times you are already busy.
• Events that Setav creates in the calendar you choose. When a client books you, Setav creates an event for that booking (service name, time, client name and email as an attendee, and a Google Meet link for online sessions), and updates or removes it if the booking is rescheduled or cancelled. Setav does not read, change or delete any other event in your calendar.

How we store and protect it. We store an encrypted authorization token (encrypted with a managed key service), your Google account email and identifier, the calendars you selected, and the identifiers of the events Setav created. Free/busy times are held in a short-lived cache for at most 5 minutes and are not otherwise stored.

Sharing. We do not sell Google user data, use it for advertising, or use it to develop or train AI or machine-learning models. We do not share it with anyone, except that the booking event Setav creates includes your client as an attendee, so Google sends them the calendar invitation. Setav staff do not read your Google data unless you ask us to for support, it is needed for security, or the law requires it.

Retention and deletion. You can disconnect Google Calendar at any time from Connected apps in Setav. When you disconnect, or delete your Setav account, we delete the stored token, account details and calendar choices. Events already created for your bookings remain in your calendar, as they are yours. You can also remove Setav's access at any time at https://myaccount.google.com/permissions.

Limited Use. Setav's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
